To all the new fans out there that are just now discovering Sense Field, I hope this site will help you discover the vast range of high quality music this band has created in its history. Now my quick primer on this band. First off, there are many long time fans who have been following this band for up to 10 years or more. Don't let any of them intimidate you. Appreciation of music isn't determined by a number of years (though that doesn't hurt). Over the years this band has appealed to fans of many genres from emo to metal to soft rock to hard core to adult contemporary to progressive rock to punk, etc. This band hasn't been properly categorized in any specific genre, but there is a unique sense that has always been carried with the band. Every note ever played, every lyric ever sung, even every word ever spoken has come from some place in someone's mind. It is that place, always present behind Sense Field's music, that forms the notes and lyrics into this vision of a world as it could be and should be, a dream they allow us to experience for a moment through the medium of sound. To me, this is what separates Sense Field's music from others. They write music for the human potential. The fans often treat this band like an ideological movement. Important for its focus on musicianship, its focus on beauty and dreams, its focus on looking forward on what may come of life. And so this band has amassed a diverse but very dedicated following over the years. Allow me to welcome you to that.
Sense Field has a history of great music and each album has its own group of fans who rally behind it as their favorite.
Their new album entitled Tonight and Forever shows a softer more passionate side of the band, mixed in with some energetic tracks.
Building (my favorite, I consider a modern day classic) is probably the most beautiful "punk" album ever written.
Killed For Less has a much more experimental sound to it ranging over many genres and sounds that haven't really been classified in a genre. From grunge to softer pop to punk and even parts that sound similar to Tool (Let it be known that the song Today and Tomorrow was written before the members of Tool met each other)
The self-titled early Sense Field album is a collection of their early demo recordings. Many still hold this as their favorite. It's sound is more in line with the new material on tonight and forever. It has a good combination of the soft and energetic side of Sense Field but is bit more musically experimental. A very beautiful album.
Part of the Deal is an awesome energetic and soft 5 song EP that ends leaving you wanting more. Also includes two original versions to songs changed for Tonight and Forever.

I 100% truly believe that no one's album collection is complete without the complete works of Sense Field. Go here to fix this.
