Sense Field Review

Concert Review: May 11, 2000

by Greg Ferrero

I arrived real early at the begging of crashcart. I was also surprised to see Sundays best take the stage, but they played well as did Farside. But when you saw the guys of Sense Field take the stage you know every one's adrenaline level is raised high. Everyone set up and then John walked on stage. every one's eyes glue on him in envy. And then... What Is Pure What is love....... I was so into the first song dancing and just being happy i think i wasted half of my film on that first song. Outlive the man just got every dancing mad and all pumped up. When Building hit It was just a circle of positive energy everyone was jumping throwing the hands in the air and singing along with john it was great to see all this positive feedback for such a great band. It was nice to hear a very old song when i've never seen them play Trip Poem, That song was just a relaxing sensation. After that was just more great music for a great band. Nearing to the end they played Leia where my favorite part of the song is where John yells "Don't Give Up Don't Give In!". They encored with Soft And Love Song which happens to be my favorite song on there new cd. Sorry to say yeah I've just about heard most of it. Where Rob Played excellent Drums. To end this letter I would like to say this show was full of energy and fun and I cant wait until the new cd is out and they start touring again.
